Canceling at the last minute impedes another student from booking.
2 late cancellations will result in having to make prepaid arrangements in order to place a booking.

If you need to reschedule for a different time, but on the same day, please contact Lotus and include the new time request. There are no guarantees, but every effort will be made to accommodate your new time.  There are no exceptions to the Cancellation Policy.

Lateness
Please give a courtesy call if you are running late. If you are late, the instructor is under no obligation to extend your lesson. Students who are more the 15 minutes late risk having your lesson canceled.

Instructor Changes
The instructor reserves the right to make changes or cancellations due to emergency, inclement weather, or traveling situations. Every attempt to contact you in the event of a change, cancellation or emergency will be made. You will not lose your fee and rebooking will be complimentary.

Weather
In the event of inclement weather, students should check with the instructor for potential cancellation.
Weather varies depending on when you live. As a general rule, please personally assess your own comfort level when weather conditions outside are questionable.  If the instructor feels that her safety and the safety of her students will be in jeopardy, the lesson will be rescheduled.
It is your responsibility to call to confirm any changes due to weather.

Your lesson time is not a social hour. Please note that gossip, slander, and libel against any instructor, director, other teachers, other students, or others in the dance community will not be tolerated. Anyone who is disrespectful of this will be removed. Please remember to act with integrity in all professional and business relationships.

Private Lessons with Lotus Niraja
(by appointment/advanced bookings only)
In The Rough Series is a dance journey for the serious bellydancer. Like diamonds, no two dancers are alike. You are individual and unique. The private class sessions are designed to provide you the tools to polish and refine your bellydance technique and artistry in preparation for the stage and audience.

You will learn not only to train the body, but you will also learn how to use body language, stage dynamics, drama, and classic movement as opportunities to shine during your performance. Learn to apply these skills to choreography to emphasize your artistry, performance, as well as skill.

This course is ideal for the student, semi-professional or professional who has previous training, and has an excellent command of basic technique. Also, it is for the dancer who is at a crossroads in their dance career, performance, or coming from other teachers that do not necessarily nurture performance skills or teach technique only.
